Ken began playing the saxophone at the age of 9 and immediately developed a love for the instrument. He spent the next 10 years studying privately, earning a place among the top Illinois High School saxophone players during his senior year. In college, he had the fortunate honor of performing with legendary Grammy winning trumpet player, Arturo Sandoval.

"The Light" by Drop Steady

After studying Film/Video Production at Columbia, Ken switched gears, joining a 6-piece reggae band in Chicago called, Drop Steady. Over the next six years, the band played shows all over Chicago, getting ingrained into the Chicago Music Scene, recording two albums, and earning streaming radio air plays all over the world.

Ken eventually joined up with the Chicago Fusion group, Chicago Loud 9, featuring an eclectic mix of rock, hip-hop, jazz and more, the group would go on to perform at  legendary venues like as House of Blues Chicago and The Metro, and was featured on ABC7 Chicago's daytime talk show, "Windy City Live," in 2016.

After 10 years of performing live all over Chicago, Ken is semi-retired from gigging, but continues to play to this day, and you might even catch him performing the National Anthem at a Baseball game.
